After our successful Royal Society meeting in London, Kate Laskowski and I edited this special issue of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences. It's got a great line up of papers from leaders in the field of collective behaviour, and starts off with our extensive review A multi-scale review of the dynamics of collective behaviour: from rapid responses to ontogeny and evolution.
