Coming to the end of your undergraduate degree or want to get back into academia? If so, consider a Masters by Research in our group. It involves a year of research with very few taught courses (the superb and essential statistics course is the most notable, taught by myself and Prof. Innes Cuthill). You’ll run one or two experiments and write these up, ideally for publication in a peer reviewed journal – invaluable in applying for funded PhD positions. I am happy to discuss ideas for projects you may have or provide projects already planned, just get in touch. Work could be done in the lab (with fish) or in the field (fish, humans and invertebrates). There are further details on the University webpages here.
